Yellowstone Season 4 ended with Rip and Beth’s much-awaited marriage. As the most popular couple on the show, what will their marriage mean for them in Yellowstone Season 5?
Rip and Beth’s Marriage
Rip and Beth’s new life as a married couple will surely bring them in a different direction. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Hauser and Reilley opened up about their characters’ marriage and how that would change them. For Beth, getting married will not dramatically change anything. She has been devoted to Rip from the very start, so tying the knot will not make any major changes. The Major Change in Rip and Beth After Marriage
However, if there will be one major marriage after their marriage, it’s Rip moving into the main house on the Yellowstone Ranch. Surely, this will take him a lot of time before he finally gets used to it. “The first thing it changes is that he’s moved into the main house, which is somewhere he’s never really been that comfortable,” Hauser stated. “It’s a weird thing to think that John Dutton is actually related to him now through marriage.” YOU MIGHT ALSO LIKE: The Big Bang Theory Revival: Creators Finally Break Silence Over Show’s Continuation
Rip and Beth’s Storyline to Move Slowly in Yellowstone Season 5
Hauser also revealed that Rip and Beth’s storyline would move slowly in Yellowstone Season 5. This time, they have to deal with their own relationship and some things from the past that continuously affect them until today. “What I like about what [Taylor Sheridan] wrote is that he slow burns this year with me and Beth,” he explained. “In the beginning, there’s some wonderful moments between the two of us, some stuff that she’s going through in her past, that she’s having to acknowledge for the first time, and me trying to help her through that.” This year, the war will feel internal for Beth.
