Devil in Ohio was originally billed as a limited series. It has a total of eight episodes, which are all inspired by a true story on the non-fiction novel by Daria Polatin. And because of that, it’s unlikely that we’re going to see Devil in Ohio Season 2. Even Polatin has been vocal about the show ending similar to the book. In an interview with TV Insider, Polatin said: “It’s interesting to think where it might go, but for now it is just an all-in limited [series]. We leave them in that moment because that’s a huge moment and there are different ways it can go. That’s what’s fun about it, too, as a conversation piece. I like to write stories that people can engage with and talk about and discuss, and so it’s a good question and it’s something fun for the audience to engage with as well in conversation.”
What is Devil in Ohio Story About?
The show is about a psychiatrist named Dr. Suzanne Mathis (played by Emily Deschanel) who deals with a patient after escaping a satanic cult. The woman arrived in the hospital with a mysterious wound, which led Dr. Mathis on an investigation of her own. If there will be a Devil in Ohio Season 2, it’s likely that it will start with where it left off in the first season. But at this point, we cannot speculate much because the show seems to end with just one season.
