The story follows Yuichiro Hyakuya who joined the vampire extermination unit to take revenge on the people who killed his family and childhood best friend. Aside from the manga and anime, a spin-off manga was made based on the original series, entitled Serapetit!~Seraph of the End four-frame manga~. Another manga was released after called Seraph of the End: Guren Ichinose: Catastrophe at Sixteen. The original Seraph of the End manga is still ongoing and continues to tell the journey of Yuichiro.
