Netflix released the official trailer for the show, which revealed that the second installment will be released shortly. To be more specific, Money Heist: Korea - Joint Economic Area Part 2 will be released on December 9, 2022 with all 6 episodes becoming available at the same time. This means that the whole first season of Money Heist: Korea - Joint Economic Area has a total of 12 episodes.
What Will Money Heist: Korea - Joint Economic Area Part 2 Be About?
The second part of Money Heist: Korea - Joint Economic Area will continue on where the show left us in the first part. When the first part ended, Berlin (played by Park Hae Soo) managed to trick Seon Woo Jin (played by Yunjin Kim) into thinking that they killed an undercover officer she had sent in. But in reality, Berlin never killed him. They simply hid the officer to show the public that the authorities would be willing to do anything to pin them down. Now that the public is on their side, the robbers have the upperhand.
Elsewhere, Moscow (played by Lee Won Jong) was finally able to break through the floor of the Royal Mint. Denver (played by Kim Ji Hoon) and Yoon Mi Seon (played by Lee Joo Bin) are somewhere inside the Royal Mint getting busy. Outside the establishment, The Professor (played by Yoo Ji Tae) is getting ready for his date with Woo Jin when he gets approached by Captain Cha Moo Hyuk (played by Kim Sung Oh). Money Heist: Korea - Joint Economic Area Part 2 will continue off with these storylines.
Is There a New Cast Member on Money Heist: Korea - Joint Economic Area Part 2?
Just like the original Money Heist series, the Professor has a lot of tricks up his sleeve. In Money Heist: Korea - Joint Economic Area Part 2, a new character will be introduced. This character, called Seoul, will be played by Lim Ji Yeon, who will help the team escape with her own crew of robbers.
