What is the Weakness of Black Adam?
Black Adam swiftly comes through the DCEU in his own debut film, introducing one of the most powerful characters to ever step foot in the franchise and he is said to be on the same level as that of Superman given his abilities. His power comes from Egyptian gods, too. That being said, no one is perfect and blessed with powers without any weakness. Superman has Kryptonite to prove that, as for Black Adam, while he has immortality, super strength, speed, and could travel trans-dimensionally, Black Adam still has his fair share of weaknesses. First up, there’s magic. No, it’s not just any regular magic but it has to be significant and powerful enough to cripple him. Second, there’s lightning. This makes Shazam a match to Black Adam since lightning can weaken the latter.

Third, his alter-ego, Teth-Adam is a weakness, too. Also known as Theo, once he is in his mortal form, he would age forward and be prone to all invulnerabilities like any other human. Lastly, this may not be one that comes from an ability, but his weakness is his child. No power could ever overcome the pain that Black Adam had to deal with when he lost his son who, as mentioned in the trailers, sacrificed himself to save Black Adam. Losing his son, as seen in the trailers, left a void so huge in him that Black Adam lashed out. A father who loves his son so much would feel the same way. His son may be his weakness but he is also his source of strength. DCEU’s Black Adam is now in theaters since October 21.
