Although Jihyo’s sister got the spotlight, TWICE also dominated the internet again after it became one of the K-pop groups that successfully made it to Billboard’s World Albums Chart. Billboard recently published its World Albums chart for the week ending on October 29, showing several K-pop groups on the list. For TWICE, the JYP Entertainment girl group’s mini album, Between 1&2, climbed back to No. 3 in its eighth consecutive week on the chart. With that, it became the first female K-pop artist in Billboard history to reach the feat with more than one album. Other K-pop idols raised the South Korean flag in the chart, including NCT 127 for 2 Baddies, ENHYPEN for Manifesto: Day 1, LE SSERAFIM for ANTIFRAGILE, and NewJeans for New Jeans. BLACKPINK, BTS, and Stray Kids also made history in the Billboard chart.
