Well, if you have been following Stranger Things news on social media platforms, you would know that they had just released the cover page of the Stranger Things 5 script, which says: “Stranger Things 5. Episode #501. “Chapter One: The Crawl” by The Duffer Brothers.” You can check out the post below:
Not only are Stranger Things fans completely hyped to have received the news on the closing of Stranger Things day, they also took to Twitter their theories about Eddie Munson possibly coming back through this cryptic message. Some have even posted the lyrics of Metallica, titled Master Of Puppets, where the lyrics says: Come crawling faster, Obey your master; indicating that the title may be particularly talking about Eddie. This theory began simply because Eddie supposedly died because of the Demobats in the Upside Down. And though ‘The Crawl’ could also be implying Vecna coming back for his revenge as seen in the last scene of Part 2, majority of the fans immediately hung on to Eddie’s possible return.
Some may have found this disappointing, assuming their theory is correct, thus referring to this as ‘old news’, however, it is still interesting to debate on which character the title is really going to pertain to once Stranger Things Season 5 is out. Who do you think ‘The Crawl’ is referring to?
