She-Hulk: Attorney At Law Episode 8 MCU Easter Eggs and Comic Book References
The finale is being set up by the penultimate, Ribbit and Rip It, which oozes with Easter eggs in connection to the MCU and the comic books. Well, probably everyone’s favorite is the arrival of Daredevil but nonetheless, here are She-Hulk: Attorney At Law Episode 8’s Easter eggs!
She-Hulk: Attorney At Law Episode 8 Easter Egg: Presenting, Leap-Frog
Jen gets a new client in She-Hulk: Attorney At Law Episode 8 with Eugene Patilio, a.k.a. Leap-Frog, who exclaims that he needs to be compensated for damages with his defective suit. The problem for Jen is that it’s Luke Jacobson who made the suit. In the comics, it’s Patilio Sr. who is Leap-Frog. Vincent became Leap-Frog when he failed to be an inventor for a toy shop and he became a villain afterward to Daredevil, which is fitting because Matt Murdock is the lawyer opposite Jen in the show.
She-Hulk: Attorney At Law Episode 8 Easter Egg: Welcome to the Show, Matt Murdock
As mentioned, Matt Murdock is the lawyer opposite Jen in court as he represents the tailor of his new suit, Luke Jacobson. From one lawyer to another, Jen is amazed on how Matt Murdock handled the case and he managed to make Eugene admit to not following the suit’s instructions.
She-Hulk: Attorney At Law Episode 8 Easter Egg: The Sokovia Accords
During the case, Matt Murdock mentions the Sokovia Accords which was already repealed. In Captain America: Civil War, the Sokovia Accords has been a hot topic between the Avengers and even caused a split between them. Now that it has been repealed, it only means that a new law has been passed countering the accords.
She-Hulk: Attorney At Law Episode 8 Easter Egg: Todd’s Wakandan Spear
It’s annoying, that is for sure, and when Todd did the chant “Wakanda Forever,” everyone literally wanted to beg him to stop with the nonsense. Anyway, he said might’ve bought a Wakandan spear from some colonizers, something like that of Ulysses Klaue.
She-Hulk: Attorney At Law Episode 8 Easter Egg: Daredevil Arrives!
Just as Matt Murdock arrives comes his alter ego, the moment everyone has been waiting for, Daredevil. Upon his arrival, the Daredevil theme song from the Netflix series played in the background. While his costume may be different, it is also reminiscent to that of his comic book costume which is yellow.
She-Hulk: Attorney At Law Episode 8 Easter Egg: Rogers the Musical Billboard
While Jen and Daredevil talk things out after Jen knocked Daredevil with her She-Hulk thunderclap, at the back of them was a faint but familiar poster of “Rogers the Musical,” the one that played in Hawkeye which was watched by Clint Barton and his kids.
She-Hulk: Attorney At Law Episode 8 Easter Egg: Free Comic Book!
It’s a weekly thing to look for a QR code somewhere in the episodes of She-Hulk: Attorney At Law for a free comic book and for Episode 8, it is at the 17:14 time stamp. It leads to She-Hulk (2014) #9 by Charles Soule and Javier Pulido, which features both Jen and Matt Murdock in the “trial of the century.”
She-Hulk: Attorney At Law Episode 8 Easter Egg: The Classic Daredevil Hallway Fight
When taking down the hench-goons, as Jen would call them, Daredevil prefers his style of stealth to take them out and another call out to the Netflix series of Daredevil comes in as he engages in yet another hallway fight, a classic one for The Man Without Fear.

She-Hulk: Attorney At Law Episode 8 Easter Egg: The Frog Signal, Like The Iconic Bat Signal
At Lily Pad, the lair of Leap-Frog, there are a lot of things that pertain to a frog like the game Froggers and a Frog poster on the wall but what caught the attention of most is the Frog signal which is reminiscent to that of the Bat Signal of Batman.
She-Hulk: Attorney At Law Episode 8 Easter Egg: Jen Mentions Red Hulk
As Jen realizes that the next episode is the finale, she talks to the audience and mentions a familiar character in the comics asking whether she would get “fridged,” or whether there would be another Hulk, but Red, which is, clearly, pertaining to the Red Hulk or the Red She-Hulk.
She-Hulk: Attorney At Law Episode 8 Easter Egg: Nikki Goes “Wolverine” With Make-up Brushes
Nikki arrives as she has to prepare Jen for the upcoming gala for the Female Lawyer of the Year awards night, Nikki cuts Jen’s dialogue with the audience as she bursts in with her make-up brushes in a Wolverine fashion having three on each hand formed like the hero’s claw.
She-Hulk: Attorney At Law Episode 8 Easter Egg: Jen’s Carrie Moment
Finally, the one that surprised everyone the most is when Jen got her very own Carrie moment as she got humiliated by the Intelligencia in front of everyone by divulging the contents of her phone, even revealing that her wallpaper is America’s butt, like the back side of Captain America. Jen’s bank accounts were even revealed to everyone and the worst part of it is a video clip of her and Josh having sex which is clearly embarrassing for her especially with her parents, bosses, and colleagues present at the event. Too much for Jen to handle, she lets her rage get the best of her and Jen lashes out with a full-on She-Hulk anger to the screen, scaring everyone, and leading to them out of the venue. It doesn’t stop there, she saw members of the Intelligencia filming it all. Jen bursts through the wall but it’s too late for her to stop as agents of the Department of Damage Control arrives and got their targets on her. She looks at the camera, to the audience, and realizes she’s in deep trouble. Have you spotted all these Easter eggs in She-Hulk: Attorney At Law Episode 8? It is now streaming on Disney Plus.
