The isekai anime follows Fran, a young cat girl from the Black Cat tribe, and her master, the Sword, who was isekai’d in the fantasy world after being killed in a real-world accident. Together, the dynamic duo becomes official adventurers on a quest to find the key to Fran’s evolution.
Will Reincarnated as a Sword Be Dubbed in English?
HIDIVE has confirmed that it will stream Reincarnated as a Sword in English dub alongside other fall anime shows. In addition to the English dub announcement, HIDIVE revealed the English dub cast of Reincarnated as a Sword. The announcement coincided with the confirmation of the anime’s second season on Reincarnated as a Sword’s official website. Considering the struggles of the anime’s English staff and voice cast, making English dubs is no easy task. Not to mention that the producers would have to also consider budget constraints, the availability of the cast and staff, as well as the general interest of the international anime community. The English dub of Reincarnated as a Sword will premiere on HIDIVE starting December 29, 2022, at 12:00 PM EST. HIDIVE is also streaming Reincarnated as a Sword exclusively on its platform in original Japanese audio with English subtitles.
