On JTBC’s official Instagram, it hints at Song Joong Ki’s transformation as Sunyang Group’s employee who lives a new life after he was reborn as the chaebol’s youngest son. The forthcoming series, initially known as The Youngest Son of Chaebol, boasts a roster of talented and award-winning stars.
Meet the Cast of Reborn Rich
For his K-drama comeback, Song Joong Ki took the role of Yoon Hyun Woo, a loyal employee of the Sunyang Group, who was murdered after being framed for embezzlement. Interestingly, he returned with a vengeance after he was reborn as the family’s youngest son Jin Do Joon. He is set to take his revenge and take over the conglomerate. Joining Soong Kong Ki is veteran actor Lee Sung Min. While viewers might recognize him as Kim Hye Soo’s chief judge in Juvenile Justice, he will transform into Sunyang Group’s CEO, Jin Yang Chul. Shin Hyun Bin, on the other hand, took the character of Seo Min Young. She is an anti-corruption investigation prosecutor who earned the moniker “Sunyang Group’s grim reaper” for her fearless approach to serving justice. Apart from the three lead stars, the Reborn Rich cast also includes Yoon Je Moon, Kim Jung Nan, Seo Jae Hee, and Jo Han Chul who is also Song Joong Ki’s co-star in Vincenzo. In addition, viewers are set to watch Girls’ Generation’s Tiffany for her K-drama debut, playing the role of Rachel. Song Joong Ki’s New Drama: Reborn Rich Release Date
Besides unveiling the official poster, JTBC also revealed the premiere date of the much-awaited comeback of the Hallyu star. The 16-part episode K-drama is slated to debut on November 18, airing thrice a week. It means that viewers will get to watch Song Joong Ki’s drama every Friday, Saturday, and Sundays at 10:30 p.m. KST.
