According to the Australian actress, Disney no longer wants to do the project which led many to believe that Johnny Depp is making his shocking return to the franchise as Jack Sparrow, years after the House of Mouse dropped him from the beloved film series.Well, it looks like there’s zero truth to Margot’s claims and according to one of the franchise’s creatives, her Pirates project hasn’t been scrapped. Speaking with Collider, producer Jerry Bruckheimer refuted the DC star’s previous declaration, saying that the reboot is still happening. However, he did reveal that they’re prioritizing another project with a different story, something that has apparently been in active development as well.Bruckheimer said: “I think that that script will come forward at a certain point.
