The Hollywood Reporter has reported that HBO Max’s Green Lantern series is being redeveloped as it will now focus on John Stewart, instead of Guy Gardner and Alan Scott who were previously the main focuses of the series. Berlanti is still producing the new iteration of the project. However, as a result of these creative changes, showrunner Seth Grahame-Smith exited the project despite completing the script for the eight episodes of the series....

Flanagan continues on to say how Netflix also had to move forward as time and the industry changed, comparing it to the time when Cindy Holland was heading the streaming site, but then ‘the whole town felt different’ which led to the inevitable of their decision to transfer studios. Trevor Macy shares his sentiment on the situation, explaining that Netflix is ‘exploring’ with ‘changes’ that do not fit into their vision anymore as much as it did in their initial encounter....

Still, this didn’t stop the king from presiding over Vaemond Velaryon’s petition to be named the next Lord of the Tides and having a nice dinner with his family. Unfortunately, this proved to be the last supper for Viserys, who slowly died in his bed by the end of the episode....

The choice would be between his daughter Rhaenyra and his brother Daemon and Viserys ultimately chose the princess, who would then set to be the first female ruler of Westeros. Lord Bartimos Celtigar then points out that the Blacks have an advantage for having dragons. At this point, Daemon Targaryen enumerates the riderless dragons starting with Seasmoke who still resides on Driftmark. We all know the reason why Seasmoke is currently riderless....

In House of the Dragon Episode 5, Daemon Targaryen returns to the Vale where he comes across his wife Lady Rhea Royce who is out on a hunt. Rhea deduces that Daemon has come to get rid of her and she is right as he quickly moves in for the kill. Elsewhere, King Viserys I Targaryen makes the journey to Driftmark to propose the marriage between Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen and Laenor Velaryon....

The House of the Dragon Episode 8 preview was dropped right after this week’s episode concluded and it opens with the shocking image of Otto Hightower sitting on the Iron Throne. It’s not clear what had happened to King Viserys I Targaryen but the Hand claims that he is now speaking on the king’s voice on an undisclosed matter. Rhaenyra Targaryen is clearly not happy about this but this isn’t the only thing she has to worry about....
