During a recent interview with Collider, Isaac was asked if there are actual plans to do a second season of Moon Knight and clarified that there is no definitive word about it yet since Marvel Studios has not announced anything official about it. “We can’t definitively say that. I need my teasing abilities. Can’t drain me of those. What a cock tease I am. Always been,” he said. “No, I hope so. We’ll see what happens. But at the moment, there’s no official word.”
Based on his new comments, it looks like we can certainly say at this point that the second season of Moon Knight is not yet a possibility. While the actor didn’t say that it won’t be happening, we do have to temper our expectations for now since there’s nothing definitive about the status of a new season. However, despite the discouraging update, Isaac’s turn in the MCU is still not yet over. Just like any other heroes that were introduced in the franchise, it is very likely that we will see him appear in other projects and interact with them in crossover events. Considering the reception that the first season received, a lot of fans would love to see the series get a second season and it’s just a matter of time before we find out any official confirmation whether they will move forward with it or have the character appear instead in other projects for his next MCU journey.
