Aside from a special Naruto anime remake video, series creator Masashi Kishimoto celebrated the show’s anniversary with a special illustration. It also came with a message from Kishimoto saying that more projects are coming soon. In the promo video description, studio Pierrot also revealed that as part of the celebration, the anime openings and endings of the Naruto and Naruto Shippuden anime will be released on the studio’s YouTube channel. There will also be special videos that will be released exclusively on Pierrot’s channel. However, right now, there’s no word yet on what these will be.

While this doesn’t mean a remake of Naruto is coming soon, fans online shared how happy they were upon seeing the video. There are even some who wish for a true series remake after seeing the video. As one of the most popular anime of all time, it’s no surprise that Pierrot went through the effort of re-animating various scenes from the series for its anniversary. This is just the beginning though as more anniversary-related announcements will be shared soon via the official website.
