Now, this may come as a surprise to some of you but Marvel has long cast its Wonder Man in Nathan Fillion, who was supposedly set to make his debut in the second Guardians of the Galaxy film. However, the studio ultimately scrapped the scene he filmed and up to now, it hasn’t seen the light of day although director James Gunn has previously confirmed his supposed inclusion in the sequel.On Twitter, fans questioned the studio’s decision to cast someone else when Gunn himself already handpicked Fillion several years back. And before you jump to the conclusion that it had something to do with Williams being racially bent, it doesn’t have anything to do with that.
