On top of that, several Hollywood insiders continue to drop rumors about the MCU’s iteration of the First Family, with names like Penn Badgley, Lily James, and most recently, Alexandra Daddario reportedly being the studio’s top picks. Then there’s the idea that John Krasinski could be reprising the Mister Fantastic part following the great reception from the fandom when he briefly played the character in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Now, as Marvel Studios continues its search, some fans have found a new candidate for the role and it is none other than ex-Superman actor Brandon Routh.Routh, of course, famously played the Man of Steel in 2006’s Superman Returns and also Ray Palmer aka the Atom in the Arrowverse.
