What’s the 2023 Magic: The Gathering release schedule?

The official titles of the 2023 Magic: The Gathering sets haven’t been revealed yet, but their codenames have been revealed.

Main MTG sets of 2023

Codename: Lacrosse

Release date: Q1 2023

The first main set to be released in 2023 continues the story arc from Dominaria United and The Brothers’ War.

Codename: Marathon

Release date: Q2 2023

The final premier set of the Dominaria story arc.

Codename: Marathon Epilogue

Release date: Q2 2023

According to MTG head designer Mark Rosewater, “Marathon Epilogue” is a brand new product tied to the Marathon set, and that “there isn’t another current product to compare it to”. This is the conclusion of the epic four-set storyline that started with Dominaria United.

Codename: Netball

Release date: Q3 2023

Codename: Offroading

Release date: Q4 2023
