Studio Mir, the company that brought DOTA: Dragon’s Blood and The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf, to Netflix, will finally bring the first animation on the streaming giant that is based on a Naver Webtoon story. Netflix Lookism’s Plot
The upcoming animation, which is set to make history on the platform, will explore the life of Park Hyeong Seok. He is a high school student who suffers bullying due to his weight and looks. However, his life changes instantly when he wakes up in a different body and becomes a tall, handsome boy. The phenomenon happens every day — he becomes a handsome boy during day time, and he returns to his original body at night time. Its success made the company offer it to different countries and translate it into different languages, including English, Chinese, French, Thai, and Japanese. Will Lookism Be Available in November 2022?
Netflix confirmed on the Lookism trailer that the adaptation would arrive on the streaming giant on November 4. Other details, like the voice actors and actresses, remain unknown. However, ATEEZ already confirmed that its song would be included in the series as an original theme song. The adaptation will feature the characters from the original webtoon, including Park Hyung Suk (Daniel Park), Lee Eun Tae, Hong Jae Yeol, Lee Jin Sung, Kim Mi Jin, Park Ha Neul, and Choi Soo Jung.
