The fantasy drama is based on Philip Pullman’s novel trilogy of the same name. After three years, debuting in 2019, the show has ended, but Lyra’s (Dafne Keen) story is just starting, and more storylines need to be explored. So, will it happen in His Dark Materials Season 4?
The Possible Continuation of Lyra’s Story in His Dark Materials Season 4
The final season featured a major plot twist when Lyra separated from Pantalaimon (Kit Connor) to enter the land of the dead. It covered the trilogy’s final book, The Amber Spyglass, which saw Lyra and Will’s (Amir Wilson) journey together and ended the war between Lord Asriel (James McAvoy) and the Authority. Lyra and Will were both stuck in their own worlds, while Mrs. Coulter (Ruth Wilson) and Lord Asriel died.
