In an interview with Collider, Bartlett shares that one particular episode of Last of Us is incomparable to the many scripts he had read before. He even emphasizes how ‘human’ it was to soon be experiencing it himself on screen. Read Bartlett’s full quote below:
Although there isn’t much news about how much Bartlett’s Frank will be involved in the series, it is relieving to hear that even the cast thinks highly of the show they’re starring in. Bartlett’s character Frank was actually merely revealed as an anecdote for being Bill’s old lover. The game featured Frank hanging himself from the ceiling after becoming infected.
Seeing as HBO’s The Last of Us is striving to produce a faithful adaptation of the game’s storyline, we can assume that Frank’s involvement with Bill might include at least a glimpse of moments to build his importance towards Bill, who is set to be played by Park and Rec’s Nick Offerman.
HBO officially announced Last of Us will premiere on January 15, 2023.
