In the recent Scooby-Doo film, Trick or Treat Scooby-Doo!, the longtime member of the gang comes out as a lesbian in the new animated movie, where she found herself having a huge crush on Coco Diablo, the head of a costume crime syndicate. The scene confirmed fans’ long-awaited headcanon to come true canonically. Trick or Treat Scooby-Doo! will be streaming on HBO Max starting October 15, where Scooby and the gang encounter ‘menacing doppelganger ghosts in Coolsville to threaten Halloween.’
This is not the first time Google had hidden pop culture easter eggs in their search page. They previously launched a Batman ‘Bat signal’ animation to promote the release of The Batman movie and another for KPOP superstar BTS’, where purple balloons can be popped with a click or tap to unlock audio messages from the band members themselves.
Google also made one for Friends, where each character had their very own animation function: Chandler Bing’s pops out a duck and a chick walking on the bottom of your screen, Monica Geller’s squeaky clean wipes your search page, Joey Tribbiani’s favorite food would be unleashed only for him to say one of his iconic lines ‘Joey doesn’t share food!’, Ross Geller has a couch beside his name, which, when clicked, would be tilted while his voice recites his famous line ‘Pivot! Pivot! PIVOT!’, Rachel Green’s would take you to her google images of the iconic hairstyle, and Phoebe Buffay’s has her hit song ‘Smelly Cat’ playing in the background with a dirty cat strolling on the bottom of your page.
