Since the start, Beatrix has been a character that everyone is unsure whether she is a friend or a foe. In Fate: The Winx Saga Season 2, she proves that she plays both sides of the coin for her self-interest and survival. But did she really die? Also, the theory of her relationship with Bloom remains!
Did Beatrix Die in Fate: The Winx Saga Season 2?
Yes, she did. In Fate: The Winx Saga Season 2 finale, Beatrix lost her power after scrapers attacking her. The scrapers are used by the Blood Witches, who turns out to be led by Sebastian, to suck out the powers of fairies to transfer it to Sebastian, making him receive what powers were taken. These powers can only be returned if Sebastian would take a scraper to suck out a certain ability and give it back to the fairy through the same painful process. It turns out, Beatrix did that and made a deal with Sebastian to help him kill the power throughout Alfea college. Still, Beatrix was hit by some sort of moral issue after she met with Stella who made her realize that she is more powerful than what she thinks and Beatrix plotted an unimaginable attack to Sebastian. While Sebastian was taking Bloom’s power of the Dragon Flame through the crystal in exchange for Sky’s safety, Beatrix distracted Bloom by striking electricity through Sky. The crystal broke and Beatrix proudly announced that she just saved the world. In turn, an angered Sebastian sent Beatrix flying to the walls where she hit her head and bled to death. Yes, Beatrix died but Stella, along with Aisha, Terra, and Bloom didn’t let her die in vain as they defeated Sebastian when they all transformed into full-fledged fairies. Beatrix was later buried in the yard of Alfea college and Stella even paid her respects to her new friend.

Is Beatrix Really Dead For Good in Fate: The Winx Saga Season 2?
Yes, Beatrix, did in fact, die in Fate: The Winx Saga Season 2. However, that doesn’t mean it would be for good, marking the end of her stint in the series. Her death lies in some grey area where she may be brought back to life should there be Fate: The Winx Saga Season 3. See, when Stella walked away from Beatrix’s grave, the being from Bloom’s vision, presumably Shadow, was standing over the grave of Beatrix, hinting some possibility that they may, somehow, be connected, and may be the way for Beatrix to come back to life. Shadow is revealed to be a being from the Realm of Darkness, one that is completely shut off from Otherworld because of its dangers. Shadow seems to be an ancient being powerful enough to do the impossible and only Bloom, with the Dragon Flame, could stop it.
Is Beatrix Related to Bloom in Fate: The Winx Saga Season 2?
The theory that Beatrix is related to Bloom in Fate: The Winx Saga continues to live on. Beatrix may possibly be the sister or a relative of Bloom considering her origins and her knowledge on things. It could be something Season 3 could delve in. Yes, Beatrix’s origins remain to be suspicious. Said to be born in 2004 in Aster Dell, Beatrix was saved by Rosalind and given to Andreas’ care until she became a powerful fairy who could manipulate electricity. The fact that Rosalind saved her means she is more than just an orphaned fairy in Aster Dell. To start, how can she be born in Aster Dell as a fairy when such place is the commune of the Blood Witches, right? See, Bloom was also thought to be born in Aster Dell but her origins were clarified that she was just found by a Blood Witch residing there. Bloom is actually more than a thousand years old as her mother put her on stasis after learning about how destructive the Dragon Flame is. With the shadow appearing over her grave, and given that Bloom’s mother sent herself to the Realm of Darkness, it is possible that the shadow, may, in fact, be the mother of Bloom, and probably that of Beatrix as well as the shadow stands over Beatrix’s grave. After all, Beatrix never knew who her mother was nor did Bloom. They were both from Aster Dell, fairies in the midst of a Blood Witch commune, babies when found, grew up to be powerful fairies who could channel the Stone Circle, and both were precious to Rosalind.
