After announcing its reveal last week, MAPPA has given fans from all over the world a new look at the highly anticipated anime series. The trailer was shown during the recent MAPPA stage event which was streamed live on YouTube. For comparison, the initial teaser, while over a minute long, only featured some short snippets from the upcoming show. Last year’s teaser also didn’t include any lines of dialogue. Aside from hearing the voices of the characters, MAPPA also announced the main voice cast for the Chainsaw Man anime. The cast includes up-and-coming voice actors, including:

Chainsaw Man is an upcoming anime series by MAPPA, and it’s a show that fans from all over the world are excited about. This is because it is based on the hit manga of the same name by Tatsuki Fujimoto. The manga was initially serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump from December 2018 to December 2020. The series then continued with Part 2 which started just last month. Due to the series’ popularity, the first chapter of Part 2 got over 3 million views in under 24 hours, and it even trended online in various countries. While the stage event gave us a new trailer, release date, and the official voice cast, there’s currently not much information yet aside from these. Though there might be new announcements to be made at upcoming events. For instance, a Chainsaw Man panel is happening at the Crunchyroll Expo on Sunday, August 7. There have also been reports of an exclusive event that will reveal top-secret information about the anime. Right now, there’s no word yet on a specific release date for Chainsaw Man, but it is confirmed to premiere in October 2022.
