Call of the Night Episode 11 Recap
After working her butt off in the Maid Café, Nazuna realizes that money is everything. So, Nazuna expands her Cuddle Buddy business by installing new furniture in her home to earn more money. Nazuna requests that Kou find her some new clients. Kou agreed and went out of his way to locate some tired-looking people in need of a massage. Along the way, Kou noticed a strange-looking woman smoking in the corner. Surprisingly, the woman agreed to talk with Kou for a while. In a coffee shop, Kou clarifies that he is not hitting on the woman in front of him. He explains that he was looking for customers for Nazuna’s Cuddle Buddy business. However, the woman realizes that Kou is working illegally as a minor for Nazuna. According to Japan’s Labor Standards Law, Nazuna’s business is engaging in unlawful acts. Fortunately, the woman is only making fun of Kou. She believes Kou chose to work for Nazuna for a specific reason. The woman also shared that she’s not looking for someone to sleep with. Instead, she’s interested in the massage packages offered by Nazuna’s business. She works so hard that she needs to ease her muscles and take a breather. Apparently, the woman is working as a private detective, and her name is Anko Uguisu. Unlike Conan Edogawa who solves murders and such, Anko is busy investigating infidelities and missing persons. While Kou is enthralled by Anko’s job, the latter inquires about Akihito Akiyama. Anko also showed Kou a picture of Akiyama, which surprised him. It turns out that it was Akkun, the glasses guy who had become Seri’s offspring since that day in the karaoke. Anko grabbed Kou and looked him in the eyes since he became nervous at the sight of the photo. Kou, on the other hand, dismisses Anko’s confrontation and informs her that he is not familiar with Akkun. Anko apologized for her actions and left Kou in the coffee shop. Kou returned to Nazuna’s apartment and informed her of what had occurred. Nazuna snapped and told Kou she wouldn’t do anything unless there was alcohol involved. Kou had anticipated it, which is why he had already purchased Nazuna’s favorite drinks. Kou met up with Mahiru and Akira the next night. Mahiru encouraged them to trespass on school grounds to commemorate adolescence. While Akira muses, Kou follows Mahiru inside by flawlessly jumping through the gates. Inside, Mahiru expresses his desire to make a pleasant memory with Akira and Kou. Mahiru decided to investigate and verify the school’s seven mysteries, beginning with Hanako-san, who is said to haunt the toilets. The trio investigated and had fun all night, moving from one mystery to the next. When Mahiru told them about another legend at their school, Akira and Kou knew they had to investigate it. A teacher went missing 10 years ago. According to legend, the teacher appears in a classroom every night. To see it through, the three decided to enter that specific classroom. However, a mysterious and frightening old man who attacked Akira unexpectedly awaits them. Upon seeing the old man’s behavior, Kou realizes that he is a vampire. However, Kou is confused as to why the vampire is so unkempt. Unlike Nazuna and the others, who are all pretty and slick, the old man is somehow in distress. Anko appeared out of nowhere. It turns out that she had been following Kou the entire time. Anko began to aggravate the old man by showing her neck. The old man jumped out and attacked Anko, only to discover that her blood tasted horrible. Anko claims to have previously investigated the man. She had no leads, but she had a feeling he’d become a vampire. He refrained from eating because of his good nature, which explains his unkempt appearance. The old man sobbed as he shared how he was tricked by the female vampire he fell in love with. Anko sympathizes and tells him how she could give him a chance to die as a human. This encounter had a huge influence on Kou’s decision to become a vampire. After all, Anko asked them, why would anyone want to be a vampire that craves human blood? When Anko placed what appeared to be a silver ring on the old man’s hand, the latter vanished into thin air when morning arrived. Kou confronted Anko about what she had done to the elderly man. Anko, on the other hand, argued that the old man deserved to die as a human being, not as a monster. She also warned Kou to stay out of trouble and, surprisingly, warned that she would not let his idiotic dream come true. Kou returns home before the episode concludes and realizes he still knows nothing about vampires. Read More: How Many Episodes Will Call of the Night Have?
