Speaking with Digital Spy, Tenoch Huerta opens up his thoughts on doing a solo Marvel film for his character, Namor, after Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, and he is quick to note that this would depend on the decision of Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige and the audience to the sequel. Seeing as director Ryan Coogler even noted how Namor can be ‘as strong as Hulk and Thor’, especially with Namor’s underwater abilities, a solo Marvel film would go a long way in introducing a new set of characters to add to the MCU, namely, his parents! It could even introduce the historical background as to how the underwater kingdom came to be in the first place, perhaps an initial alliance between the people in the underwater and the people from the surface.
